About Unicorn Electrick
I'm Unicorn Electrick, a television writer and storyteller based in Los Angeles. I’ve written on a CW show for three seasons, and I’ve worked in writers’ rooms across the industry as a Showrunner’s Assistant, Writers’ Assistant, and Script Coordinator on series for Netflix, CBS, HBO, and more. When I’m not working in television, I’m freelancing, developing new projects, and writing a book. Story is the throughline of my career. It’s how I make sense of the world.
In February 2025, I started streaming as a creative outlet, and it quickly became another space where storytelling lives. I’ve always loved video games for the stories they hold -- the ones written into them, and the ones that unfold between players. In story-driven games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, I love digging into character arcs, structure, and the writing choices that make a moment truly land. But some of my favorite stories are the ones nobody wrote. In multiplayer games like ARC Raiders and Helldivers 2, the real magic isn’t just the mission -- it’s the teammate who saves you at the last second. The plan that falls apart. The chaos that turns into legend. That’s storytelling too.
That belief in story is what shaped The Unicorner, the community that’s grown around my Twitch channel and Discord. The whole philosophy is pretty simple: fun comes first, everyone belongs, and the moments we make together are worth something. I didn’t set out to build a “brand.” I set out to find people who’d laugh at the same moments I laughed at, care about the same details, and want to be in the room when something unexpected happened. Somehow, that worked. And I’m really proud of it. Skill level doesn’t matter here. Experience doesn’t matter. What matters is showing up.
This shop exists because stories stay with us. We keep ticket stubs, favorite books, and concert tees as little artifacts that remind us of how something made us feel. The merch here is an extension of that idea. Some pieces are bold and unmistakably Unicorn Electrick. Others live inside the Multi-Uni-Verse collection themes for those who want something more subtle. However you wear it, the hope is the same: that it carries a memory of the stories we’ve told together.
I live in LA with my girlfriend, who you’ll often spot moderating stream and helping me keep everything running smoothly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Unicorn Electrick currently writing for television?
After three seasons as a credited writer on a CW series and time across multiple writers’ rooms, the current focus is on developing original projects to pitch, writing a book, and building The Unicorner as a live storytelling space. The industry moves in seasons, and right now, this is the season for building.
What is The Unicorner?
The Unicorner is the community that has grown around Unicorn Electrick’s Twitch channel and Discord. The philosophy is simple: fun comes first, everyone belongs, and the moments we make together are worth something. Skill level and experience are secondary to showing up.

How can someone play with Unicorn Electrick?
Friday evenings on Twitch are dedicated to Open Community Night for Helldivers, where viewers can join the live queue and drop into missions together. It’s structured, welcoming, and built around a fun-first philosophy.
Outside of stream, community members regularly organize games in one of our open lobbies within The Unicorner Discord. The server is boosted, making it easy for anyone to spin up a lobby and play -- whether with longtime friends or someone new.
For private sessions or special collaborations, Unicorn Electrick is also available to coordinate off-stream play. Please use the Contact page for details.
What games are typically featured on stream?
The primary rotation currently includes ARC Raiders and Helldivers 2, with open-queue community play as a central feature. Story-driven titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also appear regularly, particularly when the focus is narrative analysis and character discussion. Game selection is guided by story potential, collaboration, and what feels most alive with the community.
What is Unicorn Electrick’s streaming schedule?
Streams typically take place Thursday, Friday, and Sunday evenings/nights (PST). Updates and special events are announced via Twitch and Discord.
What is the streaming setup?
Unicorn Electrick did not launch with a dual-PC production suite.
The stream started on an older iMac, a PS5, and a $10 capture card purchased from TikTok Shop. That capture card eventually chose its own dramatic exit -- dying mid-stream during a Megalodon battle in Sea of Thieves. The audio survived. The gameplay did not. The community witnessed a heroic fight... entirely through a black screen.
After that moment, upgrades became a shared effort.
With time, intention, and community support, the setup evolved into a full dual-PC configuration designed for reliability and performance.

Why create merchandise?
Stories stay with people. Ticket stubs, favorite books, concert tees -- small objects can hold huge meaning. The merch is designed as an extension of that idea: wearable artifacts of shared moments, running jokes, favorite worlds, and the kind of memories that only happen live. Whether bold or subtle, each piece is meant to carry a piece of the story.
